SiSi was imported to Hong Kong from USA in June 2012 and my boyfriend and I brought her home on June 11. Unfortunately, she got gut stasis 9 days after with breathing difficulty all of a sudden. We took her to an exotic vet clinic where she had been staying in the oxygen tank for five days. Very lucky that she had recovered (which was a miracle as she had not given any faeces at all on the first day in the animal hospital). After she got back home from the hospital, we had to administer nebulisation on her for 8 days as her breathing difficulty had not been completely calmed down.

We came so close to nearly lose our darling SiSi. We are happy that she has gradually recovered and bounced to good condition a month after. SiSi is now a happy and healthy chin and we would love to share her pictures here! :)

She is absolutely beautiful, and I love her cage set up! I can tell she'll be very spoiled and well cared for! I'm so happy she recovered so well for you!

That is one beautiful, spoiled chin! As a breeder my wish is for all my chins that go to pet homes to have a life like this with their new owners! Spoiled rotten!!!

Loooove those pics of her with her princess pillow... ;) Those pics need one of those bubbles saying how hard it is being such a princess...lol

Thanks everyone! SiSi is our fav chin at home now. She got fungus infection right after she got discharged from the hospital and the vet explained probably because she was too weak by that time. There was time she got bare spots around one of her eyes and on her tail due to fungus. It took me weeks to nurse her to full recovery. Mutual trust and love have been built between SiSi and I during the weeks of time I had to nurse her with meds and Critical Care several times each day. Since then she clings on me dearly whenever we let her get out of her cage. :)

Here come more images of SiSi:
