Shoulder cuddling

I normally don't get a chance to really hold Sonic, I usually just say good morning to him and good night and hold him for a few minutes each time. But tonight I had twenty minutes with absolutely nothing to do. Nothing. So I got out Sonic and cuddled with him, before I knew it he had nosed his way into the shoulder of my hoodie and inside of my shirt and he fell asleep cuddling with my shoulder. I was sooooo sweet! Does anybody else have hedgies that do stuff like this?

Hannah likes to fall asleep in my hoodie pocket I love it when she does that!
Its so rewarding to have a hedgie trust you enough to fall asleep!!

It's funny. He wasn't in my pocket he wanted in my shirt. I think he liked being next to my skin

Yes, my quill kids do this too. Tex likes finding the end of my sleeve and burrowing inside. Satin paws at the bottom edge of my shirt and noses her way onto my tummy to sleep.

I think you're right about your boy enjoying being next to your skin - really wanted the warmth & safety of being under your shirt AND being connected to you. Very sweet.

I've had several shoulder hogs over the years. Out of my current kids, Cooper comes up and nuzzles under my chin. I guess it feels good and is comforting to him.
