I'm not sure if I should take my chinchilla to the vet or if I'm overreacting.

She's been sneezy and has watery eyes. Sometimes I'll hear a wheezy noise, too. She doesn't seem to have a runny nose. She's playing a lot, eating normal, drinking normal, and sleeping normal.

Will this likely blow over or is it a concern?

Thanks!

No, you are not overreacting. Sneezing, watery eyes and wheezing are symptoms of a respiratory infection in chinchillas. These can take a turn for the worse at a moment's notice. Please take your chin to the vet. It's a good sign that she is still behaving normally, so it shouldn't be that difficult to treat.

I agree. Vet would be best. Its better safe than sorry. Once a chin slows or stops eating your odds go way down. Catch it early when ever you can.
