Shelby Update!

Some of you may remember little Shelby, my rescue puppy with a cherry eye: http://www.chins-n-hedgies.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25757

She had her corrective surgery almost 2 weeks ago and is doing great! The eye was looking pretty nasty for awhile but it is finally healing and looking good. She has gotten through her separation issues, is fully potty trained, and is all around a great dog. She is perfect cuddling size.

I'm sure she's feeling much better and I'm glad. Love my doggie!

what is cherry eye? I don't have a dog, so I'm totally out of the dog chat

Cherry eye is where the third eyelid prolapses and becomes red/inflamed. Basically it pops out of place.

Aw, Shleby's so cute!! The surgery seems to have went great, you can't even tell she had cherry eye.
