Scariest book?

This isn't so much "horror" as it is "scary" and extremely "gory" but The Hot Zone by Richard Preston which is a true story about the ebola Zaire strain of virus and it's outbreak back in '89.

ashly--i loved that book! i even liked the movie.

i haven't seen the movie, but loooooved the book. scary to think i was born when it was going on like 3 hrs away though!
