I may have ringworm under one of my arms. I have had it before and it kind of looks like the same thing. Question: Can I spread this to my chin? and could I have gotten it from him?

This is probably a yes, considering it's a fungus. What should I do?

Put a fungal cream on it. :p (I know you know this, just messing with you) That's the type that lives with you your entire life, it will never really go away, just into remission.

Can't say if it will affect your chins since there are so many varieties of fungal infections. You'd have to get it scraped, grown and ID'd before you'd know if it was the type that contaminates cross-species.

I wouldn't worry about it, but you can always ask your vet if they've seen that type (generally regarded as the same type that causes athlete's foot) spread cross-species.

Good lord, that is a disgusting piece of information. I didn't know it just stayed with you, EW! Apparently mine isn't contagious. I put fungal cream on it and it went down after a I saw a doc. I put a little Tinactin powder in their dust baths just in case...
