Ok i keep getting ringworm on my forehead and back of the neck ever since i have had my chinchilla, she has no ringworm, but i somehow think she is cause it, is that possible?

You need to be more specific. Can you answer the following questions please:
Has the ringworm been properly diagnosed and treated?
What do you mean by "keep getting"? How many times have you had a problem?
Can you describe the "ringworm" you have been getting?
What are you treating the ringworm with?

How long have you had your chinchilla?

What other animals are you in contact with?

Yes, we went to the doctor and got prescription medicine
It came once and i got it in about 4 different places and went away for a week then came back
It is just a red ring, little bulged, and itches
I started with over the counter Lotromin but now am using prescription
i have had my chinchilla about a month and a half
I have dogs but we have had them for my whole life

Some people get fungal infection is spring time(with the first signs of warmer weather fungal spores are multiplying like crazy) . It's hard to get rid of, along with the prescription medicine you can ask for anti fungal body wash. Also, it really helps to take something internally, like grapefruit seed extract for example. A friend of mine had the same problem last year during spring time, and she does not have a chinchilla. Her entire body was covered with it, even arms and legs.
You can also use Echinacea to support the immune system during an outbreak of fungal infection.
Good luck!

keep in mind ring worm can live on a hair for 2 weeks which is why it is so hard to get rid of. I remember working in a shelter a few years back we had to scrub everything even the walls and no carpet type material was allowed in the cat rooms because if it can't be bleached it isn't clean enough

did you by any chance transmit it to the dogs or could they have given it to you. Dogs and cats and other critters that go outside can easily bring stuff back to you

You had posted back in early May about your sisters having it. It is very contagious; you probably caught it from them. I doubt very much your chinchilla gave you ringworm. Did your sisters' ringworm clear up completely yet? If not, you are likely passing it back and forth.

Everyone affected needs to be treated with the anti-fungal until it is completely gone. You need to be super careful and get rid of it, before you pass it on to your animals.

Just because they have never had ringworm before, doesn't mean that they don't now. Any animal or human you have been in contact with can be the source of the ringworm that you now have.

I never said my sister had ringworm?

I'm sorry, whiskers...I must be remembering someone else. I thought it was you who had posted that. My apologies.
