Hey Guys: I've searched the forum for different thoughts on removing pee stains from wood (hidey houses, shelves, etc..) So far I've tried equal parts Hydrogen Peroxide/Water, Vinegar/ Water, and Hydrogen Peroxide/Vinegar. I let the solution sit on the stain for 10ish minutes, scrub with a sponge, rinse with water, and dry. I have no doubt that everything is sanitary but the stains are still there. Am I doing something wrong? Any more suggestions?

Just do straight hydrogen peroxide, let sit 10 minutes for the tough stains. Get a wire brush or a stiff brush of some sort and scrub the heck out of it. Then get a wet cloth and wipe it down.

I try to use a 50/50 Vinegar mix every week when I clean and about once a month I sand down any remaining spots that weren't previously removed.

Thanks for the suggestions I'll try Stacie's idea tonight, and pick up some more sandpaper over the weekend.
