I am seriously thinking about rehomeing all my chins. I do not play with them that much and I have not had alot of time for them in a while. But I am kind of scared of who I should rehome them to? I think I should charge a adoption fee, but how much? They would have to come in pairs. And there is only two units (with two cages a piece, and needs some repair) . So can someone give me some info on rehomeing them.

Are you only rehoming them because of lack of time?

I'm totally okay with rehoming animals if it has to be done, but right now is a tough time for a lot of people, and I hate to think of chin being rehomed over and over. I've got a 5 year old girl who had SIX owners before me and the reason for three of those was "lack of time", and I've had her for 2.5 years now.

Where you live is a tough area to find people who are knowledgable about chins. Northern VA would be a better resource. I lived in SW VA, a total hellhole, and I couldn't even find a vet for mine. Even here in a large-ish city in the southeast it is tough.

As far as pairs, try to rehome them with who they live with now. A modest fee of $40-$50 per chin, maybe extra for the cage seems like it would be decent, IF you do a lot of screening.
