somebody e-mailed me with this little bit of depressing info and I did not know what??? they had a healthy female chin 3.5 years old, had a milky discharge and her teeth were bright or dark orange almost red? could not be pregnant after noticing these symptome chin was dead within 24 hours Anybody have any ideas? freaked me out...and I am no expert so I didn't know what to tell her, but now I'm curious and so is he obviously what happened? Thanks all

A milky discharge from where?

Orange teeth are normal. White teeth are generally a sign of a calcium deficiency.

Chinchilla's teeth are healthy if they are orange so it doesn't sound like it was a teeth issues. A milky discharge could be pyomtera, a uterine infection in females that can be deadly. Without a necropsy done there is no way to know for sure.
