Razor Blade Found in Wal*Mart Ice Cream?

jeepers! if that was me i'd be going straight to the head office of walmart's 'true value' products and raising a dang stink. how the heck does a razor blade even get into ice cream unless somebody at the plant that produces the ice cream is an absolute sicko? oy!

I'm kind of going along the lines that Cassi is... how, even if it was broken, does someone not see a razor blade... and it cut her lip? Was she licking out of the container or what?

This story sounds sketchy to me too. Most of these plants have metal detectors that food passes through. A lot of these cases are fraud and they count on the company settling out of court rather than it becoming too public.

That's a misquote. The actual quote in the article is this: "I don't think 'I'm sorry, I hope your day gets better' is an appropriate response to 'I found a razor blade in my ice cream.'" This implies that the Wal Mart people said "I'm sorry, I hope your day gets better". (Not that I'm defending Wal Mart if the whole thing isn't a hoax, but it helps to look at punctuation.)

I don't think it's much of a hoax, since the lady doesn't seem to be trying to get money out of it she just wants more safety precautions made to prevent it from happening again. I'd be more sketchy if she was trying to get money out of it.
