Kenji is doing much better, he's happier and back to himself, so thank you to everyone who gave me imput and suggestions!
Last night we got on a conversation about electrolytes. I give them to my horse through out the summer, regardless of a work out or not. Especially since he's out in the field 24/7 with a run stall to come out of the sun and away from the flies.
So we were disucssing electrolytes and other animals and I was asked if Hedgies could have electrolytes. The question is mere curiousity only, we're not planning on giving electrolytes to Kenji, especially without a vets approval.
So ... what do you all think? Can Hedgies tolerate electrolytes like other animals?
