The story keeps getting more and more disappointing. I guess acording to the neighbor who talked to her, her friends' friend found these guys in a hay bale, and took them, even though they were not abandoned. They are now on their 3rd home... nice.

How sad that they were taken away from their mother...they shouldn't have been taken away from her as she can care for them better than anyone else. Still hoping you'll get to care for one.
