Hi
Just have a question about a male baby chin, he is currently almost 4 weeks old, he weighs 193 grams now, and I noticed that he is trying to homp on his mommy, what should I do about it?

I know that babies can be weaned between 6 to 8 weeks at least, some people do it later, but they say that for baby boys they have to be weaned a bit earlier than baby girls because there is a chance that they could get their mommies pregnant, so since this baby is only about 4 weeks old, and he still has at least 2 weeks more to be with his mommy, should I take him out and wean him earlier or just leave him with his mom, and don't worry about it?,

Also, what would be the best time to wean the babies, I have seen people doing it at 6 weeks, and wean for one week and let them go to their new homes, some do it at 8 weeks and some do it at 10 or 12 weeks, I have tried to do my best for weaning and have left some kits until they were like 3 months with mom, but I am still confused, what would you recommend?

He's not going to do anything at this point. Lots of males kits do that. Just be ready to wean him when it's time.

I wean boys or girls at no longer than 8 weeks. If they are larger, like 300 gm at 6 weeks, then I might pull them but i normally leave them until 8 weeks.

I usually wean 6-8 weeks depending on weight - no less than 200gs and no later than 8 weeks, although I will leave mom and female kits together as I find the females generally get along and self wean.
