Hello,
Can anyone give me feedback of the above food? Right now Ziggy is eating Chicken Lovers for the soul, he loves that but I want to add some variety.

This was listed on another site I came across and wanted to see what you all thought of adding a little of this to the chicken lovers?

What kind of baby food do you give for treats?

Thanks,
Robin

The ingredients read

Chicken, corn gluten meal, poultry by-product meal, oat meal, brown rice, whole grain wheat, whole grain corn, animal fat preserved with mixed-tocopherols (form of Vitamin E), soy protein isolate, natural flavor, dried beet pulp, dried egg product, phosphoric acid, potassium chloride, L-Lysine monohydrochloride, canola oil, soybean oil, malted barley flour, salt, dried cranberries, dried spinach, choline chloride, calcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, taurine, Vitamin E supplement, zinc sulfate, niacin, ferrous sulfate, Vitamin A supplement, calcium pantothenate, thiamine mononitrate (Vitamin B-1), manganese sulfate, riboflavin supplement (Vitamin B-2), Vitamin B-12 supplement, pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B-6), copper sulfate, folic acid, Vitamin D-3 supplement, biotin, menadione sodium bisulfite complex (source of Vitamin K activity), calcium iodate, sodium selenite.

Corn and by product isn't something you want to see. There's ton of other good food you can add to the CSFTCLS: Innova, Buffalo Blue, Wellness, Wysong, Natural Balance....

As for baby food treat, Litchi love peas, but you have to try different things, each hedgie has its own taste.

Heres a great food you might want to try:
Natural Balance Green Pea & Duck Forumla (limited ingredients diet)
My hog is crazy about it! And for treats I've had the best luck with mealies, Bilbo won't touch anything else. Good Luck!

I'll second the Natural Balance - one of my hogs eats it and she loves it. She has a very sensitive stomach and it's one of the few foods that doesn't cause nasty green poop for her.

I also supplement with Royal Canin Baby Cat (for my elderly hog who can't chew very well and my runner who is always so skinny), Innova (not Evo), and on occasion, Solid Gold Katz-N-Flocken.
