I can only find the stage 3 in a tap filter......I'd rather get a pitcher/dispenser over a tap filter.
But the pitchers and dispensers only come in stage 2. But when i was looking at what the stage 2 does, it seems to take out what it should, unless i'm missing something else that the 3 does. here are the two descriptions of the stage 2 items i'm looking at.
"Removes 99.9% microbial cysts, reduces 98% lead, mercury, the taste and odor of chlorine and more"
"Its slim, 1-gallon tank slides into your refrigerator where it can continuously filter up to 99.99% of cryptosporidium and giardia, 98% of lead, 96% of copper, 99% of asbestos, chlorine, bad tastes and odors from water."
Are they good enough to use instead of the stage 3 tap filter?
