So just the other day I was looking in Rocko's cage and realized that I could not see where he was peeing! there is no spots on the ledges or anything and the 2 other spots were his hammock and his house. When i got him he came with a t-shirt for some reason so I thought that maybe it was from when he was a kit and left it in the cage with him. I decided to put it in his house when i got him the bigger cage and wooden house since he slept on it before. Now he never sleeps in his house. so i decided to see if maybe he was peeing in there and apparently he is! The shirt was damp and smelt like pee. So basically what im asking is, is this ok? he always sleeps on the ledges and his hammock and never in the house. Maybe he likes his privacy when hes peeing? :hmmm:

Chins like to pee in different places. You should try to put down a small glass baking dish (possibly pyrex) with bedding for him to pee in. He may get used to that.

He could want privacy when peeing- I'm not sure! My chins usually like to pee in the corner (which is where I put their pyrex dish) and really don't like to be out in the open.

Take the shirt out, not only is it unsanitary to be saturated in pee and for him to be on it, he could decide it tastes good and may eat it.
