Priming

Hi all, just wondering how often a chin goes through priming? Kiwi went through it a while ago, she seemed to lose the most fur on her haunches. Her fur has come in nicely since then and she has some blue cloud now so she looks nice and plush. Just wondering if priming happens again or just lots of shedding? Thanks for any info

If what mine are doing is priming, then they do it a couple of times a year. Mostly I see it around the changing of the seasons though. Right now they all look like spikey, bed head chins, with all the little tufts of hair sticking up everywhere!
