Okay, I've been successful at doing apple and pecan wood for my boys. Now on to a new challenge.A bag of grapevines from my father in law. I know they're safe as far as no pesticides or anything, but how do I prepare it?? Seems like scrubbing ,boil, and bake will get rid of all the goody. The vines are pencil size and smaller.Any help much appreciated.!!:hmm:

I would scrub lightly to remove any of the dirt but not all the tiny pieces. Boiling gets most of the dirt and such off, so the scrubbing is really just to get anything large off. Then boil and bake like normal. Then get a box, put some twigs in it, and send it to Aunty Crysta. :D

:bump1: Crysta-:hmm:Nice try girl!!!! These are more like grapevine twigs!! I don't think there would be anything left if I scrubbed and boiled them. They are already dry now from me hunting around trying to figure out how to fix them. Wondering if just a low heat long time bake would be safe????
