So about a week ago i figured out that i have a female and a male not two females, ahahha , and then it looked like she has gained wait and she's doing all of the symptoms of being pregnant, i couldn't find a gram scale, and no one would take me to walmart to get one, and yesterday it looked like she was having contractions and today she doesn't look as big as she did yesterday, and sometimes she will randomly want to come out of the cage and a lot of times she doesn't want too. (she use to come out all of the time), i just don't know if she's pregnant. It looked like i saw babies kicking the other day, but i'm just not sure. She stays at the bottom of the cage a lot (but now she doesn't have an choice i took out the shelves in case she has her babies). I just don't know if she's pregnant. And i don't know how long shes been pregnant because i just realized the other chin was a male. Does she sound pregnant to you ?

Nick, when my girl was pregnant I could definitely feel the babies kicking inside of her. Abigail is a very docile chin and so would very willingly sit in the palm of my hand. When she did this I could feel the babies kicking and moving around. I am not a breeder but I heard from many forum members here when you can feel the babies then it isn't too long before she delivers. I'm not able to give you any solid advice about her being pregnant other than you can feel the babies moving and her nipples will be elongated--maybe someone else can show a picture of elongated nipples in their pregnant females and you can compare. Or try researching that thread topic here and see if you can find a picture.

If you 'see' the babies kicking, it's VERY close. I saw Ivan kicking Sonya the day before she gave birth to him. She had him the next day. That's all I know! Mood changes can occur too.
Good Luck! :)

The easiest way is to palpate, but if you don't know what you're doing you can do more harm than anything. If she's calm let sit her on your lap and put your hand under her belly, you might feel some kicks. Good luck, do lots of research.
