Poptart & Cooper images

I know some of you have probably heard me talk about my hissing, biting, quill ball a few times... AKA Cooper. He has made so much progress since his arriving here in July that I thought I would share his ferocious self with you all. While I try to remind people that not all defensive hedgehogs will change Cooper is proof that older (he will be 3 in March) can.

He stopped biting about 2 months ago and while we still have a lot of work still to do, his trust in us is really improving. One of the cutest things I can do with him is we "rub noses". He will walk up my chest and touch his nose to mine (I can also hold him up and do the same back).

While take pictures of Cooper I also tried to get some new ones of Poptart. She wasn't exactly cooperating. I got one fairly good one and a great one of her splatted out afterwards. The first image is of her trying to run over my hand to get to her bag, the second is of her completing her objective. She is a real sweetie. She will lay on her side and let you rub her tummy (as long as she is in her bag) for as long as you are willing to rub. If she does get tired of it, she will kick one of her feet to shoo your hand away.

I was going to try to get some of Rose... but the camera battery was running out. I need to charge it and get some tonight of her.

Hi Poptart! Thanks for posing for pics. You and Satin have very similar coloring these days... though a slightly different fur pattern. Miss Hufflepuff often sports bed-head on the side of her face that you're showing. The fur on her cheek and above her eye sticks straight up when I retrieve her from under her liner. It re-adjusts during play time, but gives off an awfully cute surprised/curious vibe when we first see each other at morning and night. Nice tail there! Satin prefers to hide hers most of the time.

Hi to you too Cooper. Glad you're feeling more at home and don't need to bite like you used to.

They are both gorgeous. Cooper is gorgeous. I love his colouring. Poptart looks very comfy and I love big bum shots. :hilarious:

Thanks. They both are rescues I have taken in. Both of their previous owners no longer had time for them. Poptart has always been friendly, but Cooper has taken a lot of time and patience, but it certainly is paying off. And I felt the need to brag a little

Something else that I found cool.... their birthdays are 1 day apart. Cooper was born 3/25/2007 & Poptart 3/26/2007.
