Please help!!!!!!!

Alright, my boyfriend and I have a new chinchilla. We named her Marley. She's adorable and we love her a lot but currently she is making us very frustrated. For the past HOUR AND A HALF we have been trying to get her from under the little shelves we have and back into her cage. We are unable to move the shelves because they are heavy and full. We have tried bribing with a treat, a dust bath, and even leaving her cage open in the play area we have set up.

We've tried everything and we have to leave for class soon.

This wont exactly help with your current problem, but since it was posted about 25 hours ago, I'm guessing I'm a bit late anyway.

If you just recently got the chin, you might wanna consider giving her a lot more time to get used to the new environment and the new ppl. If shes not adjusted well enough, letting her out like that might only scare her further.

Secondly, before ever letting her out again, you should look into finding a chin safe area in which to do so. That way they cant get hurt or sick from anything, and to help avoid situations like the one your currently facing.
