I'm starting to feel like Squee's way of playing IS to be aggressive.
He doesn't hide like he use too, and he still won't let me pick him up without becoming a quill ball. Or hold him with out destorying my poor little fingers..
but when i come over to his cage and start talking to him, he comes running out hissing with his quill visor down. And when i pet him he pops and clicks and bounces around like he's real tough. .. but he doesn't run away.
So i usually pick his teddy to play with, and he'll come over and try and snatch it back and we play a little tug-of-war. But his quills are as close to laying flat as i've ever seen, so he's a lot smoother to pet.
Or we'll play with his tube, which is more me sticking my fingers through one side and wiggling them at him, and him desperatly trying to get through the other side to chomp down on my tasty fingers.. .
Are we playing? or does Squee just really want to eat me?
