Pet Insurance?

After seeing how much a trip to the vet can be I want to get Hercules health insurance. I was looking at VPI pet insurance but does anyone know any other good ones?

They have been cheaper then my 1st pet insurance from VPI... and for my dogs they have covered pretty much everything. Even a 6 thousand dollar hip replacement.
They cover genetic and hereditary items. There is only 1 other insurance company who does this is in US.

But... have said they I don’t by insurance for my chinchillas. Only my dogs. And only 2 of my dogs. The most expensive two. Besides that I find saving monthly works out so much better

ps this might only be for cats and dogs I just looked at the site.
BUT call them. They are from europe so maybe they cover other animals there and might be able to help you here?

I asked my vet about insurance also. They said they had VPI available for chins, but I'd be better off just putting money away. My vet doesn't like dealing with VPI because there are things they don't cover. That's what the galz at reception told me my vet has told them. And, my vet owns her practice.

Interesting subject! Thanks for all your info. I am new to chins, and last weekend, I took one of my chins to a vet. He is 7 month-old, and I thought that he might have teeth problem. He didn't eat, glinds teeth, etc. It ended up nothing, and he just received a couple of medications for his cuts on his ear and under his eye. I was late for the appointment, and with the late fee of $30, It cost me $147!!!!!!!!!
So, your info about insurance really helped me. I will call them today! But, the problem is that I have six chins.... MMMMMM.:hmm:
