So, as you all know, a while back I posted a thread with my little boy Peru on it. So, about a week after that, I got a call, some one had a chin in need of a home. So I went and picked up Boo. He's two years old, and was in a cage with a fur chewer, so he had almost no whiskers, and his fur was ratty. He'd been used pretty much for breeding, and hadn't been handled much.
I got another cage and put Boo in quarantine, and waited thirty days. I worked with him, using cheerios as bribes to come close to me. He liked to bark and bite, so you never knew what was going to happen. I used leather gloves to take him out of the cage.
So, after that we started to integrate them together. After that, Boo seemed to settle down, you can pet him, and reach in the cage with out him barking, he'll climb into your hands. It's been hard and tough to get through to Boo that we're good, but he's getting there.
But him and Peru get along great, and sleep cuddled up to each other all the time, and argue over who has the better stick, or the better treat. But they've been good for each other.
