I use mine to mulch the back yard flower beds in the summer LOL but normally I just throw it out. 17 QC cages worth of shavings and poo every week...that's a LOT of mulch ROFL I'd have no yard left if I used it all and we have a 1/4 acre!

ok so i know this thread is kinda old, but i have a quick question. When you add the shavings as mulch do you just add the shavings or the poo, dust, hay too?? i already use Gus Gus business for compost but i need some mulch and i really dont want to go and buy some. lol. also can you add all of his business directly to the plants, specifically vegetables plants?

I just add it all together as mulch, and into my compost pile. Chins aren't fed animal by products so their poo is a lot like rabbits so safe for your veggie garden. :)

I also said I wish I could sell the fur from my aniamals that I always have to sweep up and the poop, I'd be rich and never have to work... and now someone really wants to poop... to bad they didn't pay for it...

Anyways, good idea about using it for fertilizer, I always wondered if chin poo would work for that, now that I know, I'm going to put some where I plant tomatoes.

Other than that though, I just toss it in the garbage.

Hmmm......I also drive to the dump constantly with the chin poo, but at least it's free!

I wonder if I should list it on Craigslist? Of course out here it's farm land everywhere, so there are plenty of other options for compost.

I could use some more poo - I've been filling holes in my lawn with it and I have a long way to go.

Hmmm......you need some poo, I need a horse............:)

I should use mine in the garden.... The cavy and chin poo goes into a trash can and now goes into the garbage... Thanks! I never though of using it as fertilizer! :high5:

I use it as mulch in all of my gardens, too. The rest gets spread out in the pasture. The steer and donkey eat up the hay cubes that went out with it.
I know the Shoots' sell there's to some horse-folk. It's reused in the stalls as it isn't THAT dirty yet.

alright since most of you guys just add the stuff to the plants im ganna do it too. lol. idk for some reason i thought that the pee might kill the plants or cause some harm.
