How do you guys deal with a chin who will pee on the floor during playtime?

I've been trying to potty train Momo but it's not working out very well. I've let him out in my bathroom(very short periods, as it's not air conditioned) and he didn't have accidents. However, I wouldn't like him to be peeing on my bedroom carpet or my bed, so I want to take steps to try to avoid that. I'm not sure if he would or not, but I want to be prepared.

His CN should be here sometime this week, so then I'll have to work on potty training some more. Do you think if I limit him to half of the cage, it would help limit his areas to pee(thus making him realize there is a litter box there Lol)??

I was lucky and didn't even have to potty train my chins. I just put two glass pans with pine shavings in their cage and they automatically went there. However when I have them out for play time they seem to just pee wherever they want...maybe you could try putting a litter pan out during playtime. I started to do this and they have had less accidents while out playing! Hope this helps!

My second chin isn't even potty trained in the cage! Lol. I'm going to be using fleece soon and I'm hoping I can get him to use the pan at least half of the time. :/

Every once in a while my female will pee on the floor while outside of her cage. I clean it up but she seems to go back to that spot. My male never pees out of his cage. I doubt it matters if they are litter trained or not, if they have to pee they will.

My first chin is litter trained and he's never peed anywhere aside from his litter pan. He will hop back in his cage to pee and come back out and continue playing.

My boy pees wherever, if he has to go when he's out he just goes. I keep him in the tiled bathroom if he's out so I just keep a roll of paper towel nearby and clean up immediately if he piddles.
