I have had the girls for almost a week now. Where has the week gone? As you can see, they are settling in nicely.

There is nothing like a little love to make all pain go away. Pearl is really helping lift Jade's spirits...which I think will help her in her recovery. She had an awesome day today. So let's hope it keeps up!

It is so nice to see them still together! I remember WAY back, when they were WEANED, they were weaned together! (at 8 weeks of age) (different litters that I had at the same time from two different mothers) I can't imagine them being alone....so nice you took BOTH of them! They sure do love eachother....
is Pearl still the more social one? does she still like to dump her food bowl and dig her shavings into a pile? Jade was always the "persnickity" one, who was kind of cranky, but very loveable, she loved her chin scratched....:)
Thanks for taking such wonderful care of them. I am glad that Kathiva made sure they were rehomed together.

I just glad that they look better already. Even though you can just see their faces, they look a lot better than their first pic! Amazing what proper care does.

They definitely do love each other. Jade is so protective of Pearl. If I try to get near them when they are cuddling she will give me the stinkeye and kack at me. Silly girl. They are always grooming and snuggling. It is super cute to watch.

Pearl is definitely the more social of the two. She is super vocal and is constantly making little chin noises. If you try to pet her in the "wrong" spot she will push you away with her little paws. She is not able to flip her dish as I have it anchored to the cage. But she has recently decided to start peeing in her hay. :vomit: Time to get a hay rack.

Jade is still cranky. LOL! But I love her to pieces. She is much better than when I first got her though. She loves when I pet the top of her head. Now that she is starting to feel a little better she is getting more mischievous. She fights to get her cone on and will try to run out of her carrier (with cone on) before I can get it closed. Oh...and I am excited to announce that her poops are almost normal size. YAY! :dance3:

And yes...Kathiva told me that they had to be sold as a pair as they have been together since they were babies.

Oh, how cute they look!!! I'm glad that Jade is feeling better.

I love the fancy fleece collar -- who made that for you??? You never know when you'll need one...wouldn't hurt to have one on hand.

I made the collar. I live in a small town with virtually no chin supplies. I order almost everything in. Obviously I didn't have time to wait for a collar to come in so I made one. It took a few prototypes to get it right. I like to use this fleece one during the day when she is with Pearl and then at night she wears a harder collar to prevent any escapes. :)
