It's not safe. If a chin ingests it, it could cause problems. There are certain compounds in the wood that react with digestive juices in the stomach and become extremely toxic.
Yep..apparently they think trees that contain substances that can convert into cyanide are safe for chins. One of the many reasons we say...don't trust pet stores and the products they sell!
no, i don't think it is, in fact i'm pretty sure it is toxic to chins, i have a link here with a list of different woods, anybody here can correct me if i'm wrong here...
