I usually feed my chinchillas this oxbow

but when we went to petsmart they only had this one now which we bought

I think it's the same. Their website says they've changed their packaging:

It looks like the same food. I personally order my Oxbow from Sandi on the forum. It's very fresh and she ships fast.

Thanks I did notice that there were a few ingredients added or missing when I was looking at both my bags, but I'm assuming that since most of it is the same it won't make a difference. Knowing that it's just new packaging is great.

yes, Oxbow has recently changed the packaging on their chin pellets. i was chatting with a petsmart employee the other day and she mentioned that they were having trouble getting Oxbow in to the store due to the packaging change, and that it caused delays in stocking at the store level. not sure if that's the same case down in the States though.
