Is orijen safe for hedgehogs? And if not, what makes it not safe for them?

I think they are way high in proteins and fat (every receipe). While they might be good for cats, I wouldn't buy it for my hedgie (even if it's a natual well made food)

really? I have seen that a few people feed there hedgies acana, which make orijen... is it lighter on the protein and fat?

well I'm talking about the Orjen formulas:

I didn't knew Accana was also a brand of them. I just done a quick check and they seems to have lower fat and proteins level (than Orijen), that might be ok in a mix then, but again I'm not sure. Maybe someone else has another opinion.

It does seem high in protein and fat but if you use it in a mix and have some other foods with lower fat and protein I dont see a problem with it.
