Off Color Ebony?

I have a 7 week old, dark ebony kit here. He has a reddish coloring to the tips on all of his fur. It is really visible in sunlight but the camera is not picking it up. I was wondering if this red will go away as he ages (like the cinnamon standard kits) or will he remain red? He is nothing like his 2 sisters who are both extra dark ebonies with no red what so ever in their coats.

I was told that ebonies that are born with a reddish tint that they will turn black. I purchased an ebony kit that turned black. I think she is 4 years old when I hold her in the sun it is black not even oxidized yet.
