oats

I know chins can have unlimited amounts of hay. I didnt know if that was sure with oats because I found organic oats online. I was going to buy a pound of organic oats and was wondering if it is the same thing with oats themselves or is it limited to the oats that are in the oat hay?

Oats (the old-fashioned kind) should only be used sparingly as a treat. Most people give unlimited timothy hay as the staple of their diet - are you providing only oat hay, or do you give a variety?

I give a variety, but the majority is timothy.

That should be fine then, just give a pinch of oats as an occasional treat.
