Treats are what people think they are... what I'm saying is people get stuck in what they think a treat is. We think of a treat as something to eat. Chins dont.
I small twig is a treat, a piece of a different kind of hay is a treat...
I don't understand where the "no treats until 6 months" actually came from. My young and baby chins have always eaten what my big chins have, whether it be an occasional shredded wheat, supplement (with oats, barely, flax seed, etc) or what not. Ryerson's have been raising chins for longer than I've been alive and they feed a oat based supplement specifically to their young chins. I don't believe that any chin needs raisins, fruits, or veggies either though...
