So for about a year now, I have been feeding a mixture of Mazuri and PANR/PRSC. 1 part mazuri and 2 parts rabbit. Lately, I have been going through a 25# bag of Mazuri in about a week. Aside from that, I've been closely monitoring poops and I think they do better on the rabbit pellets. (I have 4 on just that and 4 on just the mazuri) I'd really like to feed tradition, but I have no way to get it (at least that my wallet can allow lol). So what is recommended? Does anyone have the nutritional facts for the nutrena? I may just try a few of them on it and see, but the mazuri is just becoming a pita, p plus mize only has 1 or two bags every time and I worry about running out because a custom order takes a few days.

I have not tried the Purina, I use Nutrena though. I like it. I will always say that my first choice is Tradition, but I am pleased with the Nutrena and it does a good job here.

I've heard pretty mixed reviews on the PRSC. A lot of people don't like the formula changes (which Purina seems compelled to do for whatever reason). I think PANR stayed pretty much the same though, and a lot of people are happy with that.

In the end I guess it's just whatever is closest to you and personal choice. Nutrena is easy for me to get and it's the least expensive. I go through 12-15 bags every 2 weeks, so those are huge considerations for me.

I don't use Nutrena, but I know several large rabbit breeders in the Midwest have switched from it to another brand because Nutrena was listing "mixed forage products" on the ingredient tag-a change from what they listed previously. I guess there was a concern about a decline in quality within the show rabbit breeder community. It might not be an issue, but its something I'd investigate if I were making a switch although its reassuring to hear Peggy has not had a problem with the product.

Wendy - I was told by the company that it's done in an effort to "protect" their formula. Tradition does pretty much the same thing.

I tried mixing PANR in with my nutrina and doing a 50/50 mix I was not happy I went back to juts nuetrina Much happier now.

I'd prefer to just do one food also. I went to TSC today and they were either sold out or do not carry the nutrena, they couldn't tell me for sure:banghead: I'm really not happy with the Mazuri or the PANR, but I am having a hard time finding anything else :( I may have to try to get some for Knoxville or something.

Erin not sure how far you would be from it but there is a hubbard dealer in KY. They may be able to get tradition for you. Or try hubbardfeeds.com and see if there are dealers near you.
