Not so Sleepy chinchillas?

I heard they sleep during the day but my "kids" dont seem to ever sleep during the day I wanna know when they sleep

i'm sure your chins are sleeping when you are not in the room. from what i've noticed with Rhino, he snoozes for a bit, then wakes up and has a bite to eat and hops around his cage for a bit, then goes back to sleep.

with Guss (my new boy), he's awake a lot more often during the day.

each chin is different in their sleep patterns.

chins are all diffrent and some can adapt to odd sleeping patterns.

Mine usly go to sleep sometime in the early morning i think. And wake up around 5-6pm. Of course their up now and then though out the day. Bathroom, food etc.

Agreed. in the beginning, they usually slept during most of the day. Now its random. Mainly dependent on working schedule. hehe. but they def will sleep =)

one day I was stuck home sick from work they both stayed on the side of the cage I was closest too watching over me sleeping they didnt even blink

Chins can and do sleep with their eyes open, so when they look awake but are just sitting there, they could be asleep.

I think they just play around all night and day and never sleep
