I've had Marzipan for about 4 months now, things are going swimmingly, I just wonder if anyone else has chins that are mostly silent? She hardly ever makes any kind of noise, that I've heard. Sometimes during playtime she will very softly make little squeakies for a few seconds, and my mom will tell me that Marzipan is making noises when I'm out of the room but it's always over by the time I come back. I just don't want to find out that no noises are a sign of an unhappy chin lol.

My 2 yr old female is mostly silent. She cries out, or barks in her sleep occasionally, but other than that maybe a few squeaks. My 1 yr male chirps, squeaks or barks while running on his wheel, around the room and even eating. He's rarely silent. Just depends on their personality I think. If she's friendly to you I'd say she's happy.

Not all chins make alot of noises. Barking usually occurs at night around here. The males will make sounds to the females at times, but other than chewing noises mine are pretty quiet.

I've had a couple that muttered to themselves all the time and one who does the warning call in his sleep a lot. Other than that, most of mine are pretty quiet except when they are annoyed by something I'm doing. Then I get barked at, growled at or puffed at.

I have 2 adults that talk constantly, 3 babies who squeak a lot, and then 5 adults who are mostly silent. They bark sometimes and every now and then when you push in to their space too fast they will make unhappy noises but otherwise they don't squeak or anything.
