no poop!?!

hello!
so i just cleaned my chinchilla cage and moved it up to my room.

for some reason.. he has not pooped once since i moved him!!! (i did it about 20 mins ago)

i know i may be overreacting... BUT is this just because hes a bit stressed and needs to get used to the cages new location? (because i moved him from the basement to my bedroom.. which is a different location all together and the temperature is slightly warmer)
or do you think i should be concerned? :wacko:

i am realllly hoping to see some poop by the morning, lol!

answers would be very appreciated!

I wouldn't freak out yet...get a good night's sleep and check him in the morning ). If there is no poop in the morning, then you can freak out but I bet you will hit the jackpot!

20 min. of no poop isn't a big deal. I'm sure the cage will be full on poo in the morning.

oh, yes!
right after i posted this thread..about 15 minutes after i went to spend time with him and he did poop. haha.

thankfully!! because he had fresh water, food, and hay.. so i didnt see why he would not poo other than being nervous or stressed out.
i always get nervous about this topic though.. because unfortunately that is how i lost my other chin. he had a plug which disabled him from pooping..

i completely changed the diet of the other chin though after that.. and everything has been normal since!
