Newest member of the Dean family

First off I want to thank everyone for their support and prayers after I had to have my big old boy Bobby put down.I still can't really believe that he's gone. I finally took his halters off of the stall door keeper yesterday.The hardest thing that I was having to deal with though has been his little mini donkey Zach who was Bobby's pasture companion. There is no other livestock on my place and it was breaking my heart to watch Zach pacing the fence,braying a very different little donkey bray,and the last straw came when he didn't even want to go out in the pasture by himself. Needless to say he has since been castrated and I have been on a intensive mission to find a new companion for him.I wanted only another mini donkey(less feed/hay/smaller poops)Hey I am getting older too!Enough said. Please welcome Amos,a weanling mini-donkey who will be Zach's little brother after introduction/adjustment period!!He rode home in the back seat of my Dodge Dakota Quad Cab for the 3 plus hours and did pretty well.

Absolutely adorable! Is Zach interested? He must know he is there. I brought home a baby angora goat in my car a long time ago, she was sporting a baby diaper just in case lol. Congratulations on finding the perfect companion.

OMG that is the cutest thing I've ever saw! Donkeys are my fav animal in the whole world! I've collected them for the past 19 yrs and they are so hard to find! Then when the dumb shrek donkey came out, everyone would bombard me with those for gifts! Although a nice thought, I like donkeys! Not Eeyore and Donkey from shrek! lol Anyways, that is the cutest little dude! Congrats!
