First off I want to thank everyone for their support and prayers after I had to have my big old boy Bobby put down.I still can't really believe that he's gone. I finally took his halters off of the stall door keeper yesterday. The hardest thing that I was having to deal with though has been his little mini donkey Zach who was Bobby's pasture companion. There is no other livestock on my place and it was breaking my heart to watch Zach pacing the fence, braying a very different little donkey bray, and the last straw came when he didn't even want to go out in the pasture by himself. Needless to say he has since been castrated and I have been on a intensive mission to find a new companion for him.I wanted only another mini donkey(less feed/hay/smaller poops)Hey I am getting older too!Enough said. Please welcome Amos,a weanling mini-donkey who will be Zach's little brother after introduction/adjustment period!!He rode home in the back seat of my Dodge Dakota Quad Cab for the 3 plus hours and did pretty well.
