New Pog

Hi all,

I just got a new pog yesterday (Well new to me). He's not my first. I had one a few years ago and was quite active on the old chins n quills site before the switch. I just thought I'd introduce myself and my new guy. My names Landon. My old username was LandonC if I recall correctly. And my old pog was Pumkin. I miss her.

Today I adopted a little guy from some friends. His name is Wallace. If any of you remember me, Send me a message. If not, it's nice to be back.

I guess this is the appropriate time to ask my first question. Pums was such a cuddler. The new guy is shy and very jumpy. I love him already and want to try and work him out of this. I've left my shirt with him and am going to be handling him more. Any other suggestions to break this shyness?

I'd keep doing what you're doing with Wallace - leaving something of yours for him to smell, taking him out for snuggletime. Keep in mind everything in the world just changed for this little guy by going from one home to another. He'll need some time to get used to the new sights, smells, schedules, etc... Just stay consistent with your snuggletime and he should come around -- of course, how much time it'll take remains to be seen as it'll be a function of how he was treated before, how consistent you can be, and his temperament.
