New Mexico chinchillas...

I have been extensively researching Chinchillas for some time now, and decided that I want my very own. I want to adopt one, as I can see that there are a lot in need of a loving home. However I can not find anything near me. I can travel to Dallas Texas, if anyone knows where I can find or rescue one, please let me know...Thank you very much...

I live here in Dallas and it was hard to find any breeders, my first 2 I got from a petstore. Then I found a member on here who is a breeder that lives about 3 hours away from me. It will be pretty difficult to find one to adopt around here, you could try craigslist maybe?
