Hello. My name is Jenn and im in central florida. I was a member of this forum about a year and a half ago I had 2 chins munch and milo and one hedgie Huffy I got preagnet with my daughter and was told that she would be born with multiple problems and would require surgery and hospital stays so I thought if I would be in and out of the hospital with her I would not be able to properly care for her so I gave up my babies out of fear I would be negleting them well my daughter was born in March and was completly healthy and I have always been heart broken over giving up my babies so while I have not got any chins :tantrum: I was able to get another hedgie to fill part of the void. this is Garbonzo he is a 2 1/2 year old Algerian Pale Apricot Snowflake.

thank you and I should say I was not here a year and a half ago I was on C-N-Q lol my name was pet2onechin then.

welcome back! :hi2: your hedgie is one cute little.. er well BIG Guy! :winkers:

WELCOME!!! Your Garbonzo looks like my Cavalier. Do you mind my asking how you got his color? Because to me he looks albino. My Cavalier has that same yellowish marking on his hood and same little eyes and face! They can be twins! And Cavalier is definitely albino.

Regardless He is a cutie! Maybe Im a bit biased since he looks like mine. LOL BTW Im in SW Florida.. You are awefully close for me to come and visit with some big pockets!

Just had to add... Cavalier has been chirping(like crazy) since I opened this thread... he says hi!

Finally i can see the pics! they would not load for me previously. I love that second picture, i want to tickle the fur sticking out on both sides :D

Are you sure he is a pale apricot? they have red eyes and pale orange bands around the middle of each of their white quills ( snowflakes will have some plain white quills and some banded ones ) In the pics your boy looks to have totally no banding at all, creamy albino quills, and lovely pink albino eyes.

Albino is my favorite hedgie color, i spend a lot of time admiring them :p

I agree that from the pictures he looks to be albino but some pale apricots have such light banding that it's barely noticeable.

the women I got him from I found on HWS she told me his color. I personally dont know enough about the coloring my huff was a normal color. She sent me his "registration" and that coloring was on there so I said ok.
