My name is Brian and as of today, I'm the new owner of a four-month-old black velvet female! I don't have a name for her yet, but I will soon as we slowly get to know each other! I'm very excited to be a part of your community and share all of my love for chinchillas with you!

P.S. If you have any ideas for names for her, please let me know! I like the name Chloe but I might be thinking more towards something flower related... what do you think?

I haven't named a chinchilla in several years. My kids do most of the naming of our pets (as you can see by their names listed in my signature below). Go with what you feel... and I like the name Chloe )

I've actually decided on Coco as her name! It came to me last night while I was watching her explore around her cage and I think it fits her for some reason.
