Stephanie: Zoo Poo Gal!
It looks like Herby is having tooth problems again, but I am not sure how bad this time. I walked by her cage tonight, and as usual, she was there to greet me and beg for scritches..
When I gave her the scritches, I noticed her chest and chin were soaked, as were her paws. Immediately, I checked her food it was not even half gone. And this was her softened food, too. I have been feeding her both dry and wet food, which she eats well, since her first tooth filing in December. My next idea was to check the water bottle, but it is working fine. That is when I noticed her pawing at her mouth, so I checked her teeth and it looks like her incisors are too long. I am going to call the vet tomorrow first thing and try and get her in this week.
She has been chewing like crazy the last few days, so this is all of a sudden really. She even chewed on some loofah, which she never does.
I just need some good vibes, because with my husband deployed, I would have to make the ultimate decision by myself should it be worse than just her front incisors needing to be trimmed.
Other than giving her CC and monitoring poos and pee until I get her into the vet, is there anything else I can do?
