I was trying to give Newton a ring check and he was squirmy and now I think he got too excited and it won't go all the way back in. I don't have any KY to help it along...what else would work???

And please forgive me if this message seems a bit fresh...I'm totally serious...I'm beginning to worry...

He should be fine, just keep an eye on him. Vaseline would work as well, if you have any on hand.

Thank you for responding! I just know that hair rings are dangerous and cut off blood supply and I was afraid that it being out was doing the same thing. Can you tell that this is our first issue and therefore what I considered an emergency? :) Thanks again!!

It's okay hun...we understand! Fear not, it's not a "true" emergency unless it goes out and STAYS out for what is an unusual amount of time. Poor little guy..he really liked that!

I checked him this morning and all was right in our world! Thanks again everyone!!!

sillybebe, I'm glad it went back in!

I just wanted to point out that we shouldn't use petroleum based products like Vaseline on chins, because if ingested (which would certainly be a possibility if applying it to their penis), it can have a very detrimental effect on the good bacteria in their GI tract.

Thanks, that's good to know... I thought I remembered hearing it recommended here several times, didn't realize the effects it could have.
