Need help plea

today i got call a lady had 6 chinchillas in a cage with 2 baby i took adult and a 3 week old baby i noticed the adult had little fur missing from but area its not red are scale help i can post photos

Do you have the mom of the baby? 3 weeks is way too young to leave mom.

That is fur chewing. She may be chewing herself or one of the others might be chewing her fur. At this point, don't worry about it. Give her things to chew on.

Is she the mom of the baby? That is much more important.
