Necessary to ask for taller Bass pans?

Hi all. This may be a moot point since I've placed my order already, but I'm wondering: do the 2.5" Bass pans keep the shavings in okay, or should I have called and special ordered the taller ones? I might be able to see if they can change my order if needed. And also, for those of you that use fleece liners, do you still use Bass pans to keep the poos in?

I think that even 1/2" more wouldn't be a big difference. I special ordered my bass pans and I got the 3" deep pans. I use fleece liners and also have a small pan of pine shavings on top of the liners. There is still poo and shavings that fly out of there especially at night when they are super active playing "tag"! Not alot but I still have to hand vac every morning.

Does anyone have the number for the CA branch of Bass? I know I've seen it on here before but haven't been able to find it again when I do a search...

Nevermind-- found it! (707)433-6177, (800)369-7518 They are going to increase it to 3" for me and the best part is, they're local! I'm going to pick them up tomorrow and save on shipping. Phew.
