I got my baby last Saturday, and considering he wasn't tame when I got him he's come far really quickly. He sits on my hands so I can lower him out of his cage, and he licks me and nibbles me (rarely but still sometimes).

But now he's getting more confident out of the cage he's becoming really naughty. He loves my skirting boards and I find myself having to tell him off a lot during playtime which I then feel really guilty about : (

What can I do? I feel like he's mad at me now for not letting him chew his new favourite thing...

Some people prop up flattened cardboard boxes on their walls to prevent their chins from getting at the baseboards.

We wedge a shoe box under the counter/vanity area. It fits perfectly and guards the corner of the baseboard, which was the only area that Annabelle was fixated on. Plus try giving lots of new toys and sticks that are only available at playtime. Cardboard boxes with holes cut out are also great entertainment.

we covered our baseboards in some cotton cloth to protect the chins and our walls! they are takced up and add some nice color to the room, plus the chins usually ignore it.

I used a playpen for some time but one of my guys ignored the toys and decided it was more fun to stress me out by climbing the pen and jumping out. Not all my chins did this just one. You need to be vigilant but the playpens are probably your best bet. It's far easier than any home improvement projects.
