My New Rehomes From NJ

Hi Everyone, I was able to get two bonded females as rehomes with a Ferret Mansion Cage for free. The previous owner could not put time into them anymore and wanted a good home for them.

Here are my new girls: Destiny (the Ebony) and Angel (the white). They are six years old and are doing well. They are eating better food etc. We are going slow as they are timid with me and have not been handled much lately.

Very pretty girls and they look as though they've been really well cared for. )

Thank you. They are healthy and very pretty. However, I had to do a cold switch on their food. Their poops were microscopic.

They get along with each other. The white, Angel, protects the ebony, Destiny.

So far they are frightened but have taken treats from me.

Their cage is going to need much improvement. They are running on metal wheels that are too small for them. Also there are only metal shelves and ramps in the cage.

I was told they eat fleece. So I don't want to buy hammocks or fleece covered tubes. I will have to gradually improve their living conditions.

First thing is new wheels.

I'm not sure if the breeder who interceded for her chins between the first owners and I wants credit here. She did get them out of a neglectful situation into my open arms.

I will continue to post on all of our progress together.
