I am so sorry to hear about your loss. We cannot avoid the death, but when it happens to somebody I know, I really feel it as the person passed was my loved one. Hugs to you and your family.
P.S. You were talking about cremation. In Japan, where I am from, all the bodies must be cremated... 100%.
